The Candidate of "Religion"??

I am grossly disappointed, but not surprised, at how the media treated Mike Huckabee.  The media, for the most part, hates religion...yet with Gov. Huckabee, they couldn't talk about it enough!  I never heard someone that was running for President called by the title of their past profession...a "Southern Baptist Minister" so much.  The man was Gov. for 10 years.  Mitt Romney, on the other hand, was a big wig in the Mormon church...oversaw several churches...did the media wail on him for that??  Heck no...in fact, they tried to pit Huckabee against Romney numerous times...seeking to get Huckabee, "the Southern Baptist Minister" to denounce Romney's Mormon faith.

Huckabee is a good man, and I think about the closest thing we've got to a true conservative running in this primary.  Romney isn't...McCain sure isn't...and Ron Paul is just out there.

I will continue to support Mike Huckabee...because even though the media has dubbed him "unelectable"...he is still the best man running for the office!!!

Tax Cuts Cost????

I find it absolutely amazing when liberals...and the liberal media...talk about how tax cuts are going to "cost" the government!!  Cost to government??  How can it cost the government to give us tax cuts??  It's OUR money...not THEIR money!!

For instance...the AP ran a story on February 3 in which the writer, Andrew Taylor stated: "The cost of renewing those tax cuts exceeds $300 billion by 2013, according to congressional scorekeepers."  THAT logic simply escapes me!!

It costs the government nothing to keep Bush's tax cuts in place because it's not money they would have anyway!!  Now, does it mean they can't spend as much...yes it does.  Does it mean it costs them something...no it doesn't.  That's the arrogance of Washington D.C....they think our money is their money!!

I don't know...maybe I'm just crazy...but saying tax cuts costs the government money is like saying my boss cutting back R&D cost me money because the company can't grow as much and therefore I can't get a bigger raise.  That's convoluted thinking....but then again, we're talking about liberals!!
