Does anybody but me find it funny that the New York Times, who endorsed John "I'm-Really-A-Liberal" McCain, now turns around and runs an old story trying to damage McCain!!??

What DOES Obama Stand for, Anyway???

Does anybody have any idea what Obama stands for???

You may think that's a strange question to ask of the apparent front-runner in the Democratic primary...but think about it...outside of soaring rhetoric and this ambiguous, yet lofty call for change...what DOES Barack Obama stand for???

I must agree with an Australian journalist who called it the "cult of Obama".  Democrats are being led to "drink the kool-aid" that Obama is pouring without really knowing what it is they are drinking!!

We know a couple of things about Mr. Obama:  1) He wants to surrender to the Terrorists and pull our troops out of the middle east, and 2)  He's the candidate for change.

What change???  He's been a US Senator for several years....where is the legislation he has introduced that would bring about change???  What can he point to in his extremely short legislative career that would legitimize his title as the "candidate of change".

As Newt Ginger has pointed out, if Obama, or Hillary for that matter, REALLY want to claim to be agents of change, go introduce some legislation right now....tomorrow....that would give them the right to lend themselves that title.

Huckabee Proves That He's A TRUE Die Hard!!!

Way to go Mike!!!!!

Mike Huckabee AGAIN surprised the "experts" by CRUSHING John "I'm-Really-A-Liberal" McCain in Kansas...winning Louisiana....and ONLY losing Washington state by about 200 votes!!!


Could it be that conservatives are trying to tell John "I'm-Really-A-Liberal" McCain that it's NOT over just yet....that our voice WILL be heard??

I LOVE it when the "experts" count people out who the masses are ready to say good-bye to yet.

Hey, after all, John "I'm-Really-A-Liberal" McCain was dead in the water last summer until the liberals and moderates crossed over in NH, Michigan and South Carolina to give him the lead.  Think about that, folks.....he IS the front runner NOT because of conservatives....but because of liberals and moderates.

Now, some may ask:  "What's wrong with that...it shows he has broad appeal for the General Election?"

The problem is....Conservatives should NOT allow Liberals and moderates to choose our candidate because THEY like his positions!!!  They are NOT Conservatives and they should NOT be allowed to drive what our party will stand for by voting for the most liberal candidate in the GOP field.  Conservatives should be allowed to choose their OWN candidate, the candidate that reflects THEIR views....NOT the views of liberals and moderates.

Bush "endorsing" McCain????

I don't know...maybe I'm stretching here, but President Bush is not high on my list of people who have much credibility when it comes to saying who is and who is not conservative!!

Don't get me wrong...I was, and remain, a supporter of President Bush...but over the last several years he has drifted to the left on SEVERAL substantive issues with things like prescription drug care and his stance on winning the Hispanic vote just to name a couple.

However, as Kansas and Louisiana showed, John "I'm-Really-A-Liberal" McCain has a LOOOOOOOONNNGG way to go to prove to conservatives he truly is one of us!!!

President Bush...you need to stay out of this and let US decide!!!

Huckabee may have SOME problems....BUT...

For those of you who have been trashing Mike Huckabee...I would like to say...."Yes"...Gov. Huckabee has some issues...there are some things that I disagree with him on:  His apparent softness on immigration....he HAS raised taxes, but under court mandate...and he is not as aggressive as I would like.

BUT

He's a MILLION times better than John McCain. 

We can count on Huckabee to wage a strong war on terror....we can count on him to support life....we can count on him to support traditional marriage....we can count on him for tax reform....we can count on him to appoint constructionist judges, not legislators, to the bench....and we can count on him to stand by people of faith and protect our religious freedoms from the attacks and insults of the left and people like John McCain.

Does Mike Huckabee have some problems??  Yes.  Is he better than John McCain???  ABSOLUTELY!!!

Come on Republicans....Let's get behind Mike Huckabee!!!

After refusing to speak to CPac last year....a real slap in the face of conservatives...John "I'm-Really-A-Liberal" McCain is stepping up and speaking to the group.

HOWEVER....he is only willing to go so far...after all, he doesn't want to alienate his liberal and moderate supporters.  Look at this:

From the AP...Feb 7, 2008:

"recognizing that his greatest appeal is attracting support from independent and moderate voters, he is in no way apologizing to conservatives for past votes and actions that have upset them, and he has made clear he will never satisfy all of them."

He is MORE concerned with being loved and accepted by libs and moderates than he is with the Conservative base!!!

If indeed Romney is dropping out of the race today....Let's hope and pray that conservatives move to Huckabee and let's get rid of this poser, John "I'm-Really-A-Liberal" McCain.

Time Mag's blogs are reporting the Mitt Romney is dropping out of the race for the White House!! 

Let us Pray that this will help Mike Huckabee to make strong gains among conservatives and kick the conservative "poser" John "I'm-Really-A-Liberal" McCain to the curb, where he belongs!!!

Can you believe the absolute ARROGANCE of John "I'm-Really-A-Liberal" McCain???

Look at what he had to say about reaching out to the TRUE conservatives:

"I do hope that at some point we would just calm down a little bit and see if there's areas we can agree on"

For crying out loud....he's LOOKING for areas on which to agree with Conservatives!!!  Is THAT what you call being a conservative???

WHAT INCREDIBLE ARROGANCE!!!  We need to calm down and see if we can find an area on which to agree with HIM???  First off, Johnny-boy, don't lecture me on calming down, you pompous jerk...you're railroading the Republican Party with your lies!!  Second, sure, there will be areas we can agree on when YOU become a conservative!!!

Republicans...WAKE UP!!!!  You are giving this nomination to a FAKE....a FRAUD....a LIBERAL!!!!

We have an incredible chance to appoint at least two Judges to the Supreme Court and get Roe V. Wade overturned...we have opportunities to secure our southern boarder...we have the ability to extend Bush's tax cuts...and John "I'm-Really-A-Liberal" McCain is wrong on all these issues!!!

Please, wake up before it's too late and we are stuck with this loser for the next 4 years.  I'm telling you....he will NOT win the General election because the conservative base of the GOP will NOT vote for McCain!!!

Mike Huckabee...Excellent Choice for VP

As much as I would like to see him as the nominee...it is clear Mike Huckabee will not get the nod.

And.....as much as I hate it...it looks like conservative "poser"....John "I'm-Really-A-Liberal" McCain...is going be nominated by a bunch of Republicans who are following the lead of the moderates and liberals in NH, Mich, and SC who gave him the "front runner" status by crossing over and voting for their man!!

So...since a liberal is going to be the nominee of the Republican Party (what a sad day)....the ONLY thing that would lead me to vote for....John "I'm-Really-A-Liberal" McCain...is if he had a conservative running mate like Mike Huckabee!!   At least if the old man McCain dies of a heart attack or stroke while in office, we will have a REAL conservative to take his place!!!

Minus a conservative like Huckabee as his running mate, I will for the first time in my life vote for the democrat rather than McCain.  I will NOT vote for a liberal in conservative clothing!!!

John McCain ONLY Cares About Being Elected!!

How sad...how sad!!! 

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were dedicated enough to their political beliefs that they could find the time to fly back to Washington DC to vote for the pork-barrel spending bill the US Senate is calling their version of the House tax rebate bill.

The Democrats are seeking, of course, to load it up with various spending and hand-outs. 

So......you'd think every Republican would want to stand up for fiscal restraint....BUT NOT JOHN MCCAIN!!! 

He couldn't be bothered with voting....could it be he was just too busy...could it be that he felt his fellow conservatives had it under control...or could it be that I forgot, he's a damn liberal, so why would he want to stand for fiscal restraint!!!  

If he voted with real conservatives, he might have offend his moderate and liberal supporters....screw the conservative base....he doesn't seem to give a damn about us anyway.

Go ahead you foolish Republicans...put a liberal up for our nominee!!  I'm sure that's what's best for our country!!!

Way to go Huck!!!  As true a conservative as is running won the opening round in the Super Tuesday primaries!!

Yes, I have some issues with Gov. Huckabee on immigration and some of his programs, but over all, he IS the most conservative candidate running.  Just because the media says he can't win, doesn't mean it's so!!

Congrats Gov.  Many more to come!!!

Mitt Romney is not a conservative...he is "johnny-come-lately" convert to conservatism.  He WAS pro-gay marriage, now he's not.....he WAS pro-abortion rights, now he's not....he WAS pro-open immigration, now he's not...he WAS a solid moderate, now he's the "conservative" candidate.

It's time conservatives stop worrying about beating Hillary...and nominate someone that reflects conservative values...and not someone who we think is the best at appealing to the mystical "independent voter".

POW = President??? I don't think so!!

It seems strange to me that John McCain is making the fact that he was a POW in Vietnam a central focus of his presidential campaign!  Come on...while it was truly terrible that he was a POW...and while he underwent an horrific 5 years, simply being a POW does not make one qualified to be President of the United States....nor does it make you an expert in military affairs!!  He was a Junior grade officer...hardly in the know of foreign affairs!!

My fellow conservatives, we need to step back....take a deep breath and realize what we are about to do!!  John McCain is a conservative poser....he is NOT a true conservative.  Let us NOT hop on the "inevitability bandwagon" that the media has started.  Granted, while we may not have a Newt running...that doesn't mean we just nominate someone simply because we think they can beat Hillary!!  John McCain has proven time and time again that he would rather side with liberals than with conservatives....Fiengold, Kennedy, Pelosi, and the list goes on. 

A vote for Mike Huckabee is a vote for conservatism...

John McCain is NOT a Conservative

I don't care how you cut it...John McCain is not a conservative.  He's wrong on taxes...he's wrong on immigration...he's wrong on freedom of speech...he's wrong on so many core, fundamental conservative issues.

John McCain is ONLY in the position he's in because of the early primary states that allowed liberals and moderates to vote in the republican primaries.  They are the ones that gave McCain his momentum...not conservatives!!  Florida was his first real test in a state that only Republicans could vote...and while he won...it was not by a great margin...and it was only after he had the anointing of the liberal media as the one to beat.

Again....let's remember, it was the liberals and moderates that thrust John McCain into the front runner position...not conservatives.  I think this should give conservatives everywhere pause....do we really want a "conservative poser" representing our party...our ideals...and our country??  We need to think about this!!!
